Rock'n'roll, Memphis Sound e Texas Music sono gli ingredienti di cui si  è  servito  Albert Ray ,  chitarrista  cantante  da  Reggio Emilia ,  per creare  il  suo  inimitabile  sound  sulla  base della migliore tradizione Americana.       Da  oltre   30 anni  ormai  sui  palchi   più rinomati   di Festivals  e  Clubs del panorama nazionale e non, con esperienze  live  anche   all'estero  in  Francia,   Svizzera e Texas.         

Con la sua prima Band, "The Travelin'  Band",  realizza un   ottimo  CD  "Texas Sky"  nel  1999   per l'etichetta indipendente Asbury Park di Scandiano (RE) e dal 2001 tre CD  da  solista, raccogliendo   sempre   entusiasmanti  recensioni  su Fanzine e Magazine specializzati nazionali come nel caso del mensile "CHITARRE".             Negli anni collabora con personaggi illustri come Ernesto De Pascale (Il popolo del Blues) ,  Robi Bonardi ( Mr. Fantasy  e DOC) ,  il regista Newyorkese Sasha Paladino e con artisti di calibro nternazionale.       

Apre gli show di JERRY PORTNOY (armonicista di Muddy Waters) , SUGAR BLUE (armonicista dei Rolling Stones),  JAMES BURTON  (chitarrista di Elvis), CADILLAC  ANGELS,  JAMES COTTON,  duetta   con  SNOWY WHITE (Roger Waters band)  e ANA POPOVIC  al  "Castelsanpietro  in Blues" nel 2008,  accompagna   il tour Italiano del cantautore Texano KEVIN BROWN nel 2003, suona con lo stesso e John X Reed ad Austin, TX nel 2014 .  Il 1 Giugno 2015 esce per la 8 Ball Records di Reggio Emilia il nuovo CD dal titolo "She's lookin' for me". Grazie ai consensi positivi del nuovo CD nel Settembre 2016 Albert arriva finalmente a suonare nella mecca della musica Americana, ossia il Continental Club di Austin (Texas) con una band di tutto rispetto composta da JJ Barrera al basso, Joe Dickens alla chitarra e Steve Wheless alla batteria, duettando a fine serata con il grande Teisco Del Rey.

Nel 2017 e 2018, oltre ai vari tour europei in Francia e Svizzera arrivano le apparizioni televisive in Italia.

Il 2019 si apre con la registrazione di una session di 8 canzoni all'Alnico Studio di AUSTIN, Texas con JJ Barrera al basso, Joe Dickens chitarra e co-produttore, Mick Buck (Fondatore dei Fabulous Thunderbirds) alla batteria e Earl Poole Ball lo storico pianista di Johnny Cash dal 1977 al 1997. 

Finalmente l'1 Settembre 2020 esce per l'etichetta Asbury Park di Scandiano (RE) il tanto atteso "The drifter comes back to town" contenente queste 8 epiche tracce.

Rock'n'roll, Memphis Sound and Texas Music are the ingredients of the Albert Ray music ,  guitarist and singer from Reggio Emilia (Italy) his unmistakable sound based on the best American tradition.   For over 30 years on better Festivals and Clubs stages, with experiences in France, Switzerland and Texas too.    In 1999 his first band,  "TheTravelin' Band",  produced  an excellent CD " Texas Sky"  for  the independet  label "Asbury Park" - Scandiano (Italy) , and 3 CDs as a soloist since 2001, gathering more exciting and reviews on specialized Magazine just like "CHITARRE".     Over the years he collaborated with famous people like Ernesto De Pascale ( Il  popolo del Blues),  Robi  Bonardi

( Mr.  Fantasy  and  DOC  on  RAI ) , the  director  from  N.Y.C.  Sasha Paladino  and  international  artists.        He  opens  show  for  JERRY    PORTNOY, SUGAR BLUE, JAMES BURTON, CADILLAC ANGELS, JAMES COTTON, duets  with SNOWY WHITE  and  ANA  POPOVIC  at "Castel San Pietro in Blues Festival - ITALY"  and  plays  in the  italian tour of Texan songwriter KEVIN BROWN. Plays with Kevin and JOHN X REED in Austin, TX in the 2014.  1st June 2015 the new CD "She's lookin' for me"  out for the 8 Ball Records of Reggio Emilia (Italy). Thanks to positive acclaim of the new CD, in September 2016 Albert plays a gig on one of the best stage of the world, the Continental Club in Austin (Texas) with a band of great musicians: JJ Barrera on the Bass; Joe Dickens on the Guitar; Steve Wheless on the Drums; and a final duet with the fabulous Teisco Del Rey.

In the 2017 and 2018 in addition to the various European tours in France and Switzerland, TV appearances in Italy are coming.

The 2019 opens with the recording of a session of 8 songs at the Alnico Studio of AUSTIN, Texas with JJ Barrera on bass, Joe Dickens guitar and co-producer, Mick Buck (Founder of Fabulous Thunderbirds) on drums and the historic pianist of Johnny Cash from 1977 to 1997 Earl Poole Ball.

Finally on September 1st 2020 the long awaited "The drifter comes back to town" containing these 8 tracks will be released on the Asbury Park label in Scandiano (RE).
